Going to work abroad is often related to uncertainty, stress and fear that something will go wrong. It is natural – particularly if you are coming from far away to a completely foreign country. Therefore, we asked our employees what they were concerned about prior to taking up work in Poland. Based on their memories, a list of the 5 most common concerns has been created, to which we – as a temporary employment agency – are trying to respond.
Concern No. 1: no roof over one’s head
Many people are worried that after arriving in Poland, they will have no place to go. The concern of being left in a strange place results from the need for safety that each of us feels. That is why, when starting working with us, you are guaranteed a place in a comfortable flat that is fully furnished – from the first day.
You also do not have to stress about how to get there from the airport or the station[a]. We will provide you with transport to your flat, and you will receive all the information you need from our recruiters beforehand. You can also expect the care of a coordinator who will be at your disposal from the first hours in Poland.
Concern No. 2: problems with the legality of stay
The legalisation of stay in Poland entails a multitude of formalities to handle. This makes many people to ask questions: What do you do to get a PESEL number? How to obtain a residence card? What applications should be completed? Where and by when to submit them?!
Take it easy! 🙂 Our legalisation department will help you with each of these activities. We will complete the applications for you, take care of deadlines, submit documents, and even take you to the office if need be. We handle the whole procedure comprehensively, so you do not need to worry that you will not attend to any formalities and that your stay in Poland will be illegal. This is all our responsibility.
Concern No. 3: lack of help in the event of illness or accident
Being ill abroad can be very expensive – hence, the health-related concerns are natural. But also in this case you can rest easy. Each of our employees is covered by health insurance and accident insurance. If you fall ill, you will receive free medical help under this insurance. We will also help you make an appointment with a doctor and even get to the place of your appointment.
Concern No. 4: too difficult job
Before leaving for Poland, many of our employees were afraid that they would simply be unable to cope. That the job they would get would be too physically demanding. That the position entrusted to them will turn out to be mismatched with their skills. What to do in such a situation?
Do not give up – just tell us about it! We will try to help you by finding you another, less difficult position, perhaps in a different place. We know that not every job is for everyone, and sometimes, you just have to give yourself a second chance. We are open to it, and we encourage you to be open as well.
Concern No. 5: no salary on time
We are all here to earn with dignity and honesty. It is little wonder that the biggest concerns are related to the salary. “What if I do not receive my salary after 30 days of work?” – such a question is asked quite often by candidates and it is understandable. However, due to the fact that we operate 100% legally, you are guaranteed to receive your salary on the agreed date.
As early as during the first days of your stay in Poland, we open an individual bank account for you. You will receive your whole salary to this very account – never under the table or in an envelope. And if you need the money earlier, you can apply for an advance payment paid after the first (and each subsequent) week of work. It is sufficient to submit this request to your coordinator, and they will pass it on to the relevant people.
Is there anything you are concerned about that we have not mentioned here? Be sure to let us know! We will certainly dispel your doubts 🙂
